Provincial governments don’t release their test questions publicly, so our questions are written to cover the same topics, format, and difficulty — not copied from a real test. What we can control is accuracy: every question is checked against that province’s own official driver’s handbook, never a generic Canadian rulebook and never assumed to carry over from a neighbouring province (Ontario is the one exception, since no standalone MTO handbook exists — we check directly against the official MTO website there instead). Accuracy is treated as an ongoing commitment, not a one-time pass — if you ever spot something that looks wrong, let us know and we’ll verify it against the official handbook and fix it quickly. If anything in the app ever conflicts with your province’s official source, that source always takes precedence. The format — four-choice multiple choice — matches every provincial knowledge test exactly.

Driving in Canada can be quite different from what you’re used to. Traffic drives on the right, speed limits and distances are posted in kilometres, four-way stops are common (vehicles proceed in the order they arrive), and right turns on a red light are permitted almost everywhere. The main exception is on Montreal Island, where right turns on red are prohibited, along with a small number of individually signed intersections elsewhere. Most provinces also use a graduated licensing system, where new drivers progress through stages before earning a full licence (Ontario’s G1 → G2 → G is one well-known example). Depending on your country of origin, you may also be eligible to exchange your existing licence without completing all testing requirements. Check your provincial licensing authority to see if your country has a reciprocal licensing agreement.
